Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and performer who was born in NYC in the United States on the 22nd of November in 1984. Her performance has won the attention of a broad spectrum of genres such as historical drama or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson was raised living in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also an executive from a production firm. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. By the time she was seven years old, her passion for acting had grown. Her first audition was for commercials. After a short time beginning her study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then, in the following years, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. When she was eight years old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway musical. At the age of nine her debut film was Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut in Just Cause, but she first made an appearance in Manny & Lo, a film that follows orphaned siblings as they escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000), in which she played the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity due to an accident garnered the film critical acclaim. Then in Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention. Her most well-known role is her role as Nell Jones (on CBS' hit series NCIS Los Angeles). The award-winning actress has been one of the main cast members of the show. Besides appearing on the series she's also a skilled stage actress. She performed with stunning grace in Wildflower and other plays. Renee Felice Smith's path into entertainment began in a very early age. As a child Smith was interested with acting. Smith found her first role acting at the age of six years old thanks to her parents. The role was in a Dannon yogurt commercial. She decided, like most actresses getting started, to improve her abilities in the theatre. As she was making her stage debut in Wildflower she also worked on different projects across USA. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
